Four months to shift from digital hesitation to new products in market

 

Why it matters

A legacy company needed a fast overhaul to move to digital and embed new skills throughout the organization. We chose 30 emerging leaders and empowered them. The ripple effects changed the business: employees acted like owners and new products emerged.

The backstory

Sensis, the Yellow Pages of Australia, needed to accelerate digital transformation.

We trained 30 emerging leaders in Light Actions — short, low-risk experiments that build clarity through doing. They attended weekly light action leadership sessions, where we covered experimentation, gathering inspiration, and more.

Each leader was given dedicated time (20%-100%) to apply these methods to real business challenges: creating new products, simplifying workflows, reimagining client experiences.

Within four months, they had a pilot of a new product that increased client uptake in a core sector. Another pilot in their most expansive sector came a few months later, drastically increasing their clients’ efficiency.

The resultS
